Manaslu trek information in translation

We’d love to put some of this information about the Manaslu Trek into other languages. Would you like to volunteer a little bit of time (this whole site is a voluntary effort!) to translate a page for us? If so, we’d love to hear from you. Just select the page you’d like to translate and we’ll help you make your translation dream come true. We’re particularly looking for French and German to begin with.

We firmly believe that increase numbers of trekkers visiting the Manaslu area will bring benefits, mainly in terms of an alternative economic income to logging and poaching. The upper villages are especially poor and have great health and education needs.

An increase in tourism numbers will force government agencies to better monitor the area and the appointed conservation agency, MCAP, to improve the work it is tasked with.

It’s a good thing to do!

Looking forward to hear from you!
